Area Cooperative Education Services is seeking to move two of its special education programs to a former North Haven middle school and community college campus.Under the plan, ACES would relocate both the Village School and the Science-based Approaches to Independence and Life Skills (SAILS) program to 88 Bassett Road, said Brendan Sharkey, who is representing the education agency as it works to acquire the state-owned property. Both programs serve children with special needs. ACES Village School is currently located on Temple Street in North Haven, while SAILS operates out of ACES' Northford-based Center for Autism Spectrum and Development Disorders.
